Ingrid Halvorsen


 

Ingrid Halvorsen is a Norwegian documentary photographer and archeologist. She is both an academic as well as a creative and has a MA in archeology and a BA in photography. With specialization in documentary photography. She has studied under Magnum´s Stuart Franklin. Her focus is on long form documentary photography.

Ingrid’s work has been published nationally and she were selected to attend the NOOR-Nikon Masterclass in 2019. In spring 2019 she exhibited in a collective show at The Photographers Gallery in London. She has been awarded grants by several Norwegian and international organizations to work on her long-term project on suicide and suicide prevention in Japan and the world in general.

Ingrid is based in Trondheim, Norway and are focusing and experimenting with the personal in her documentary photography during the COVID-19 outbreak.
