BIO: Majid Farahani was born 1988 in Tehran, capital city of Iran and graduated in photojournalism.
He started news and documentary photography in 2009 and now is one of the primary members of the Iranian photographers national society.His focus is more on long-term projects and documentary field.
He was one of 15 under 25 years old photographers of Iran selected by the Italian ministry of Fabrica communication research center and activities for book project on the Iranian living room , published in 2013 . His works have been published in national and international publications.


RAHIAN-E-NOOR (literally means: passengers of light) camps, are yearly events held by organizations related to Sepah and Basij (Militia) , placed in the borderlands (Shalamche, Arvand river,…) where Iran-Iraq 1980 war took place. Each camp lasts one week and costs 16 USD for each person.

These lands considered sacred bye most Iranians due the bloods of martyrs shed there. Once soldiers, now storytellers and narrators are present there to pass the bravery and courage of those days to young generations. Mostly due to road accidents, yearly tens of attendance to the event get killed or injured.
