Welcome to our beginner photography workshop, a journey of six interactive sessions designed to ignite your imagination and deepen your understanding of visual language, genres, and theories. Throughout this course, participants will embark on a dynamic exploration of the fundamental elements that constitute the language of the visual world. We emphasize the importance of not just viewing images, but truly reading them, understanding their context, and uncovering the stories they tell.

In conjunction with mastering the basics, participants will also explore various genres of art, with a primary focus on photography. Additionally, they will explore key theories in photography, particularly those pertaining to documentary and humanitarian issues. This workshop is intentionally crafted to be interactive, encouraging active participation and hands-on learning rather than passive textbook study.

By simultaneously immersing ourselves in these three interconnected subjects, participants will develop the skills necessary to interpret and analyze images, discerning their subtext and the narratives they convey beyond their frames.
