Saber, who was born in Afghanistan, is sixteen years old. Some years ago, he immigrated to a rural area of Tehran with his father. But last year, due to financial problems, he came alone to the city of Tehran to find a job. He works in a supermarket as a delivery boy and earns one million Iranian tomans per month ($65). Since the outbreak of the pandemic there has been a surge in demand for delivered goods. Saber has been trying to act according to coronavirus safety protocols while delivering customers’ packages. Being underage, as well as a non-Iranian citizen, Saber is not allowed to get a driver’s license, and therefore has no choice but to make deliveries on foot.
